Our Journey through Time

1991

Company Inception

Standard Alloys India (P) Ltd, was established in 1991 in Ajmer as a small Foundry with one crucible furnace and five labourers with the aim to provide quality casting to the Cement and Mining industry surrounding Ajmer.

1994

Installation of First Induction Furnace in Ajmer

Aiming to widen our scope of manufacturing products, we installed an Induction furnace of 500Kg capacity, making us the pioneers of Induction melting in Ajmer.

2002

Installation of 1000kg Crucible

Addition of a crucible with higher melting capacity led to further expansion of our product porfolio

2006

Inception of
second melting facility

In order to meet the growing demands of the Cement industry, we established our second manufacturing unit in Ajmer, with a 2000kg crucible in our foundry.

2009

Shift to No-Bake Sand Moulding

Further improving our moulding methodolgy, we adopted Alpha set based moulding process which enabled better quality control of our products.

2012

Machine Shop Upgradation

The addition of VTL machines, Plano Millers, lathes, SPM's and drill machines enabled us to machine diameters upto 6500mm.

2019

Acquisition of Surge Alloys

The acquisition of Surge Alloys Pvt. Ltd. tripled our production capacity and increased our maximum single-piece casting capacity to 2600kg. Further, the added heat treatment and maching facilities significantly reduced the lead time of our products.
